Well hi there ! It has been awhile so I just thought I would give you an update on everything that has been happening in my life.

Most of you should know by my posts how excited I was to start my postgraduate degree. Unfortunately, five weeks into the program I discovered it was not what I had expected. They had lied about courses available, lied about the internship I would receive and their general decorum was less than acceptable.

So I decided to withdraw from the university last week and I am now looking to apply to other universities within the United Kingdom and North America. I was meant to move to North America regardless mid next year this has simply brought the possibility of moving closer. I came across a postgraduate program (MSc Marketing course) at BPP London which is a professional focused university in London. I went to visit the school on Monday and I really like how they work, I love the learning environment. And I think it will be beneficial to me. I am also looking to apply to NYU, they have a post graduate program in Integrated Marketing. this is all very exciting for me and also looking to apply to the University of Calgary and the University of Toronto. Although the University of Calgary does not have a marketing program they have a communications program which I think is still down my alley.

To top off all that excitement (with a cherry) I am applying to the WPP fellowship program (I just finished my application). I have never worked in an international organisation before so I’m very scared (not scared, okay scared but fearless at the same time) It’s the first .. it’s the first step on a journey I’m excited about it. Have I said excited enough ? Things don’t always work out as planned but where there is a well there’s certainly a way.
